As a 501c3 non-profit organization, it is our mission to work with and within our local rural community and surrounding areas to assist with lost, abandoned and medically at need animals. To assist with community education of proper vetting and vaccination procedures, and affordable procedures for community members. To offer cost effective spay and neuter program and assist with transport for medical appointments for such procedures.
Your donations are what enable us to continue helping the animals of Marion County. We have been working on rescue transfers, low cost spay/ neuter program for the community, vetting stray animals, and many more things. Every dollar helps! Thank you for your continued support.
The Marion County Friends and Volunteers and the Animal Advocates of Marion County joined up together back in February 2023. We are a small group of 5 volunteers with an occasional assistance from a few other community members. Together we have accomplished many things. One of those things being able to provide low cost spay and neuter partnership with Fix A Friend. Since we have started we have spayed and neutered 652 dogs and cats in our county and surrounding areas. If you would like more information please contact Lisa Hill-Starr on Facebook. If you would like to book an appointment through us please fill out the form below.
